Aria Awards

The Aria ( Australian Grammy ) for the Best Live DVD 2008 was awarded to PVC LIVE for "Across The Great Divide".

Australian bands Silverchair and Powderfinger toured together playing to sell out concerts across the country.

Long time collaborators Cameron Barnett and Peter Fowler worked together to co-direct this event over two nights in Melbourne capturing the all the energy of the back to back shows.

Cameron Barnett

Award winning Director/DOP Cameron Barnett has been shooting live shows for over 10 years. Over this time he has worked with artists as diverse as REM, Christina Aguilera, Neil Diamond, Josh Groban and The Spice Girls. One of his favourite gigs is the yearly Victoria Secret's Parade.

Victoria Conners-Bell

Executive Producer Victoria Conners-Bell has been working in film production for over 15 years and has experience producing a diverse range of programming in addition to live shoots including, TVCs, music videos, documentary and feature film.

PVC Live also has a team of dedicated production staff who are as skilled and experienced as they are enthusiastic.

Over 650,000 people saw Pink's Funhouse Tour in Australia. Now the few that missed it can watch Australia's number DVD. With pre-orders over 170,000 the DVD is 11 times platinum before it hits the stores.

Filmed by PVC Live in Sydney on the July 17th and 18th,' this DVD captures these performances and the variety in P!nk's songs, which veer between longing and anger, between kiss-offs and hopes for reconciliation, with occasional thoughts about pills, booze and celebrity. She's a rocker at heart, with a gutsy voice that needs no processing - all extremely obvious in this incredible live performance.'

The Veronica's "Revenge is Sweeter" DVD is released this week in Australia. The US release is to follow shortly.

July 2009

PVC Live pulled off an Australian first this weekend while shooting P!nk over two nights at the Sydney Entertainment Centre. After much testing we were able to shoot the show at the Blu Ray and NTSC compatible rate of 23.98. This overcomes what some have seen as a stumbling block to shooting in Australia for Blu Ray.

P!nk's record breaking tour played over 50 dates in Australia. The DVD is slated for release in September.

April 2009

The exclusive live version of Metro Station's "Wish We Were Older" from their Australian tour is released today on Nimemsn. The live footage was shot by Cameron while the band was playing in Melbourne in February.

As PVC Live are shooting The Veronicas in Melbourne as their single 'Untouched' goes top 20 in the US. The DVD for Warners USA will be released in September.

November 2008

It's a hard life but someone has got to do it.... Cameron is currently swanning around Miami shooting the opening sequence for the Victoria's Secret Fashion Show. There should be a law against it...
